Cavafy's poetic beds, imperceptibly, form within me a popular artistic dimension. In my collectible searches the headboards and especially these nickel-plated, bronze, copper, iron painted rosettes with angels, birds, flowers, meanders, vine leaves, sharp and obtuse angles fascinated me as samples of folk art. Together with the wall bands, they are two selfcomplementing means of exceptional popular expression, and aesthetics of private space! 

All this has been processed for many years inside me and I did not tell almost anyone! I was dreaming of an exhibition entitled "The Beds of Cavafy". And to shift the blame of it, an exhibition-installation titled from the wonderful poem "Body, Remember". The materials (15 framed poems 80 x 100 cm with bronze bed headboards, 4 constructions of dimensions 130 x 80 photos, videos, production of our Ethnographic Center lasting 2 minutes).
